Terms of Service

Last updated 29 September 2026.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or embedding the Spinlet widget on your site, you agree to these terms. If you’re agreeing on behalf of a business, you’re confirming you have the authority to do so.

2. The service

Spinlet provides a customizable, embeddable gamified popup (spin wheel, scratch card, slot machine, or mystery box) for capturing visitor email addresses, plus a dashboard for configuring campaigns and viewing collected leads.

3. Plans and billing

The Free plan includes one campaign at no cost, indefinitely, with no card required. The Pro plan is a recurring subscription, billed via Stripe, that removes the campaign limit and unlocks additional features (such as A/B testing, webhooks, scheduling, page targeting and unique codes) and removes the “Powered by Spinlet” badge from the widget. You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time from the dashboard. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

We may also offer a Lifetime plan, sold as a limited-time promotion (for example on Product Hunt). It is a single one-time payment, taken via Stripe, that gives the same access as the Pro plan — including no campaign limit — with no recurring charges and nothing to cancel. “Lifetime” means for as long as Spinlet is operated, not for the lifetime of the purchaser. If we ever discontinue the service we’ll give reasonable notice, and we don’t promise to keep offering the Lifetime plan or to preserve its price for future purchases. The one-time payment is non-refundable except where required by law. If you already have an active Pro subscription, buying the Lifetime plan doesn’t automatically cancel it; cancel it from the dashboard to stop being billed.

4. Your responsibilities

You’re responsible for what your campaigns say and do, including:

  • Making sure your consent text accurately describes what you’ll actually do with collected emails, and complying with the marketing/email laws that apply to you (e.g. GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL).
  • Honoring any discount codes or prizes your campaign offers to visitors.
  • Not using Spinlet to collect data unlawfully, deceive visitors, or run campaigns that are illegal, fraudulent, or abusive.
  • Keeping your account credentials secure.

You own the leads your campaigns collect. We process them on your behalf and don’t use them for our own purposes — see our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t use Spinlet to distribute malware, harvest data without a lawful basis, impersonate others, or interfere with the service’s normal operation (e.g. attempting to bypass rate limits or the one-spin-per-person rule at scale).

6. Service availability

We aim to keep Spinlet reliably available but don’t guarantee uninterrupted uptime. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Spinlet isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

8. Termination

You can stop using Spinlet and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible. This applies to Lifetime accounts too, and no refund is due if an account is terminated for breaching these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We’ll update the “last updated” date above when we do; continued use after a change means you accept the update.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
